These Facial Masque Bars use the detoxifying power of clay to clear your pores and restore lost moisture and tone, giving your face a radiant glow. This marvelous skin firmer comes in two formulations.

All DayBreak soaps are handcrafted from scratch in small quantities using traditional cold process methods. Our unique and luxurious formula starts with a large portion of skin-loving olive oil or virgin coconut oil and more -- all chosen for their lathering and cleansing properties. You will see some bars with rice bran oil for silky smooth skin, and lavish amounts of Ghanaian shea, cocoa, mango, and even aloe butters for their skin conditioning and therapeutic qualities. Some bars are formulated with goatsmilk. The result? A lush, creamy lather that gently cleanses and nourishes, leaving skin soft and silky.

Break off what you figure to be 1/8 of the bar. Wrap the balance in Saran wrap or a place in a baggie. This is one soap -- it's not a soap really, it's a formed masque cream -- that you don't want to expose to the air.
If it's going to be a week or more between facials, place the baggie in your refrigerator.
Holding the chunk of French Green Clay in your palm, work water into it until it is paste that will stay on your face and neck ... you don't want it running off.
Apply any leftover to the backs of your hands, luscious!! If it's a bit stiff, you might need to mix it in a small cup until it's the right consistency.
In the shower, apply it to your face and neck, leaving it on for the length of time you take your routine shower, rinsing it off as the last part of your shower.
Then moisturize or do your make up as usual. Your face will feel super-clean and toned!
Handmade Soap Care: Feel free to cut your bars into chunks. They will keep forever. Store in dark, airy spot like a linen closet or lingerie drawer. Do not store in Ziploc or any kind of baggie or air tight container. Soap breathes! To help your handmade soap last as long as possible, keep in a well-drained soap dish and allow to dry between uses. If left standing in water or in a direct stream of water, the lifespan of the bar will be shortened.

Not recommended for delicate skin types. French Green Clay is a highly active clay, efficient at drawing oils and toxins from the skin. It is rich in important minerals and phyto-nutrients and is the most commonly used therapeutic clay. Use it for facials, and body wraps.
Who should use Rose Kaolin Clay? Sensitive, delicate, compromised or rosacea skin types. Rose clay, also known as pink clay, is a mild kaolin clay that can be used on normal to dry skin to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin while improving the skin's circulation.
