WHY HANDMADE HERBAL SOAP?
BECAUSE IT'S THE BEST!
FOR YOUR BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT!!

Why Should You Use Handmade Products
Here are a few reasons we think you come to prefer DayBreak handmade herbal soaps:

  • Our handmade soaps retain 100% of the naturally occurring glycerin that mass produced products siphon off to put in lotions. Our soaps make a lather that thinks it's a lotion ... and your skin will too!
  • Exquisite ingredients lavishly used! That's our credo. We buy the best and use lots of it. We want you to feel the benefit of our handmade herbal soaps.
  • No preservatives added to our soaps, bath salts, and tub teas.
  • We don't do animal testing (just on family and friends) - My 7 grandchildren test our products, I pay them $1 to test each product and write a report. Some are learning English composition, so this is good for them - and DayBreak! Our friends test for free ... they just want soap!!
  • Made fresh to order – no worry that it has been sitting on a shelf for months on end.
  • Tried and True – Our customer satisfaction speaks loud and clear!
  • Customer request – We are willing to produce new products to add to our line.

WHAT OUR HANDMADE HERBAL SOAPS'
EXQUISITE INGREDIENTS WILL DO FOR YOU!!

Every ingredient in each of our handmade herbal soaps is chosen with a great deal of care and planning so your bathing experience is truly special and your skin is incredibly moisturized! Let's begin at the beginning ...

SOIE DE HUILE BOTANIQUE - The heart and soul of every DayBreak product is our exclusive Silkenized botanical oil. Truly it delivers Mother Nature's Magic t every cell of your skin! Months before your handmade herbal soap is born, we begin with Grade A Olive Oil. We stir in organic Chamomile flowers, Calendula petals and Comfrey leaves and Genuine Silk Protein.

Chamomile Flowers, whole ... Botanically known as - Matricaria recutitaChamomile was used a medicine by the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. Its name derives from the Greek chamos (ground) and melos (apple), referring to its creeping habit and the apple scent of fresh blossoms. Extensive research has confirmed the plant's calming and healing abilities.

Calendula Petals ... The calendula is an annual flower native to the northern Mediterranean countries. Its name refers to its tendency to bloom with the calendar, usually once a month or every new moon. Calendula was originally used as food rather than as an herb. It adds flavor and color to cereals, rice, and soups. The petals' natural antibacterial, immunostimulant, anti-scarring and natural collagen-making properties make it a superb addition to all our natural skin care.

Comfrey Leaf ... Officially called Symphytum Officianale Comfrey contains allantoin, which promotes the growth of connective tissue, bone, cartilage. Besides the cellular booster that is Allontoin, Comfrey Leaf is composed of a multitude of healing substances including calcium, tannins, mucilage and vitamins A, C, and B12. Silk Proteins ... Silk is nature's most elegant product. In skin care it delivers the full value of pure plant proteins to the cellular level of the skin. It also produces and incredible "silken" lather!

This golden, pure herbal infusion is heated oh-so gently, poured into light-safe amber amphoras and stored in our cool, dark Infusing Cellar for exactly 12 weeks where it reaches full herbal potency. Then it is triple-strained and decanted. Only then, can we call it: Silkenized Botanical Oil ... Soie de Huile Botanique. And this precious herbal fluid is the heart and soul of all DayBreak's handmade herbal soaps, creams and botanical bath & body products.

SHEA BUTTER: Some of our soaps contain 33% shea butter ... talk about creamy lather. But did you know that Shea butter comes in a variety of forms? We use strictly, 100% Pure Organic Unrefined Shea Butter that retains 100% of it's natural vitamin content. It's a beige-ish, green-ish, yellow-ish color. If the shea butter you've seen white, guess what? It's been refined and the vitamins are gone!

GOATS MILK: For centuries, folks have been using goat's milk as a cleansing agent. Now scientists know why. For starters, goat's milk soap has a pH level that is closer to the skin's own pH levels than soaps made without it. Unlike cow's milk, goat's milk is naturally homogenized--the milk and cream do not separate -- offering maximum moisturizing action that utilizes all the constituents that nature puts into goat's milk. Goat's milk is renowned for it's richness in Protein, vitamins & minerals. Goats Milk contains caprylic acid which is said to help prevent bacterial invasions of the skin. It is now confirmed that alpha-hydroxy acids found in milk have rejuvenating and softening properties.

Goat Milk contains over 50 nutrients, including the vital vitamins of A, C, B1, B6, B12 and E, minerals, citric acid, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, enzymes, and a variety of other nutrients that nourish and revitalize dehydrated skin. Vitamin A slows down the effects of aging, helps lighten "age spots" and thickening of the skin, while Zinc contributes to the reconstruction of collagen fibers, encouraging moisture retention and assisting in maintaining your skin's elasticity.
