I can't say how many full body massages you'd get out one candle -- probably three or four, but I've been using mine for hands and arms, feet and legs for about a week now, and I've barely touched the surface. Like all our DayBreak products -- a little goes a long way. But if you melt more than you need, never fear, any amount that's melted and not used just solidifies again, so you're not losing anything.

Apply to all dry, flakey or irritated areas. It is so concentrated that only a small amount instantly leaves dry body or hands noticeably softer and smoother after just one application. Used daily, it helps prevent dry, chapped skin - even under the harshest of conditions. Best absorption will occur if used directly after a warm shower or bath when pores are totally open.
To prevent chapped, rough skin or "dishpan" hands, keep a jar at your bedside and near every sink and apply it every time you dry your hands after washing.

Here's how to use yours: Light it ... If I'm doing arms and legs, I let the candle burn while I'm in the bath or shower. That gives me plenty. Or if I'm just doing my hands and feet, I let it burn for just a few minutes. You'll quickly learn how much you need for your applicatIon. So, let the wicks burn until you have a pool of 'CandleLotion' that is right for your application. Pour the melted wax/CandleLotion into your hand and massage into the skin. It doesn't feel hot ... just beautifully warmed. Why? Because it's formulated to melt rapidly and has more skin-loving oils and butters than wax.
Hands, arms, legs. Suitable for facial use to prevent or heal windburn or chapping in extreme weather.

Why wax?
LoveLights CandleLotion has a dual-moisturizing effect, the skin receives a double dose of moisture.
Skin becomes dry, cracked, chapped, fissured etc. only when moisture escapes. So, Job #1 is to form an occlusive barrier which prevents the evaporation of – and actually traps -- the body's own natural moisturizers. Now Job #2 is to deliver a blend of luxury moisturizers -- Vitamin E, Rice Bran Oil, Shea and Cocoa butter -- that complement the body's now enhanced natural moisturizers and together create powerful, long-lasting, deep-peneterating and super-softening body balm.
After endless trial and error, we use a carefully developed – and secret – combination of soy and beeswax for two very different reasons.
Why Soy Wax?
Our Cosmetic Grade Soy wax melts at a low temperature, so an application of the warm LoveLight Candlotion feels heavenly ... like a warm cocoon for your skin. Unlike paraffin and gel body candles, our properly wicked soy and beeswax candles melt at a safe and skin-soothing temperature.
Why Beeswax?
Pure beeswax is one of nature's most skin-compatible products. A super hydrator, it's perfect in our because of compounds called "wax esthers" that exist in both beeswax and human skin. But we don't use pure beeswax. We use 100% Old Comb Beeswax – the most expensive beeswax that is used by the bees for a year or more – is super rich in Bee Goo – propolis, Royal Jelly and pollen.
Beeswax is made from the nectar of flowers. The honeybees produce beeswax from wax glands on the sides of their body and use it to create "cells" to store their honey in. It possesses a subtle aroma, the fragrance of honey ingrained with the other scents present in a beehive. On the average, eight pounds of honey are consumed by the bees for each pound of wax made by the colony. I love Old Comb Beeswax' subtle aroma, the fragrance of honey ingrained with the other scents present in a beehive.

Pure Lanolin... This is one of my favorite ingredients because it's so effective. First off, lets be clear that lanolin comes from sheep's wool. No sheep are harmed in its extraction. In fact, they love being sheared! It feels really good to have that heavy, tangled and dirty wool removed, letting fresh air cool their skin. So this is a happy ingredient.
Lanolin is a natural oil that is distributed in the sheep's wool, giving protection from rain and moisture. This natural secretion is very close to the natural oils we secrete from our own skin. Lanolin is considered a "heavy duty" moisturizer and emollient that can be used on rough, chapped skin. It promotes the smoothness and translucency associated with healthy, youthful skin.
