Just so we're all on the same page, I have to tell you that my research tells me that "Cellulite" is not a medical term. Medical authorities agree that cellulite is simply ordinary fatty tissue . Strands of fibrous tissue connect the skin to deeper tissue layers and also separate compartments that contain fat cells. When fat cells increase in size, these compartments bulge and produce a waffled appearance of the skin.
Furthermore, Cellulite is a normal human variation that is -- are you ready for this? -- hereditary. Thanks Mom!! And of course, this appearance is much more common in we women than in men because of differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed in men and women's skin. Although female hormones may play a role in contributing to this fat distribution, cellulite is not treatable by any internal strategies ... hormone therapy or vitamin regimens or mineral supplements. Or liposuction. There is no cure, no magic bullet. But these areas can be managed and improved, they can be toned, tighened and smoothed.

If you like, cut your Kombu bar into chunks. Either vertically which will give a White Scrub and Green Seaweed layer in each chunk. Or horizontally which will give you one set of all White Scrub chunks and another set of all Green Seaweed chunks. Either way is fine. It's just personal preference...
Kombu Detox Spa Treatment: Shower as usual rinsing off all soap or body washes. Now begin your Kombu Detox Spa Treatment. Working with the White Layer first, gently massage your body working in small circles. Begin with your feet, work up your legs to your thighs and move into the tummy area. Now work your arms, massage from your hands up your arms, on to your shoulders and chest.
Always massage toward your heart. It's great for your circulation.
Follow the same routine, working from your feet, up your legs, massaging in small circles toward your heart. Repeat with the Green Seaweed layer. Massage all over the body, rinse with tepid water and pat dry.
Keep away from eye area. For external use only.
Handmade Soap Care: Feel free to cut your bars into chunks. They will keep forever. Store in dark, airy spot like a linen closet or lingerie drawer. Do not store in Ziploc or any kind of baggie or air tight container. Soap breathes! To help your handmade soap last as long as possible, keep in a well-drained soap dish and allow to dry between uses. If left standing in water or in a direct stream of water, the lifespan of the bar will be shortened.

Each Kombu bar has two layers to really address and attack each of the causes of unsightly fatty deposits wherever they occur. We hear a lot about "cottage cheese thighs" but many women are just as self-conscious about excess under-arm skin or pendulant abdomens. Wherever the issue, Kombu's dual system can help. The top of the bar is white, like the crest of a wave. The bottom is sea green and blended with the best our seas and coastal shores have to offer.

A mountain lake in Oregon, Lake Klamath Blue Green Algae's genetic code almost perfectly matches the human DNA cell code and has what is scientifically called a perfect amino acid profile. Blue Green Algae is a skin strengthener which goes to work immediately because it is directly assimilated by the body with a readily digestible glucose wall this makes it perfect for body and skin care products.
wild kombu (laminaria digitata)
The most tender, central part of the Kombu leaf, wild harvested from the arctic current waters off the northern most island of Japan at its southeast shore. Kombu seaweed reminerlizes the skin as it is rich in protein, calcium, iodine, magnesium, iron and folate. Lower rates of breast cancers have been reported in Japanese women eating a diet high in kombu. Lignans, which help fight cancer are found in high quantity in kelp and may provide protection against certain cancers.

Kelp is solely dependant upon receiving its nutrients from the ocean, and can grow up to two feet in one day.The primary chemical constituents of Kelp include algin, carrageenan, iodine, potassium, bromine, mucopolysaccharides, mannitol, alginic acid, kainic acid, laminine, histamine, zeaxanthin, protein, and vitamins B-2 and C.Kelp forests occur in cold, nutrient-rich water and are among the most beautiful and biologically productive habitats in the marine environment. They are found throughout the world in shallow open coastal waters, and the larger forests are restricted to temperatures less than 20ºC, extending to both the Arctic and Antarctic Circles. A dependence upon light for photosynthesis restricts them to clear shallow water and they are rarely much deeper than 15-40m. The kelps have in common a capacity for some of the most remarkable growth rates in the plant kingdom. In southern California, the Macrocystis can grow 30 cm per day.

It is concentrated, water soluble and water dispersablefor maximum effectiveness as a deodorant. It aids in increasing circulation to all the organs by dilating blood vessels. It also possesses a positive antibacterial action.

The gem of the Orient, this fresh water single-celled Japanese micro alga is a 2 billion year old plant. It is nutrient dense, highly digestible and assimilated and may come closest to the perfect food available. It is the richest in purifying chlorophyll of any known plant. It also has the ability to assist in the removal of metals and other toxins from the system. It is rich in nucleic acids (RNA/DNA), which play a major role in the revitalization of our cells. Chlorella naturally contains protein and more than 20 vitamins and minerals, 19 amino acids, including all of the essential amino and fatty acids. For our formula, the cell walls are broken during the spray drying process to ensure that the Chlorella is always rapidly assimilated.
