Just so we're all on the same page, I have to tell you that my research tells me that "Cellulite" is not a medical term. Medical authorities agree that cellulite is simply ordinary fatty tissue . Strands of fibrous tissue connect the skin to deeper tissue layers and also separate compartments that contain fat cells. When fat cells increase in size, these compartments bulge and produce a waffled appearance of the skin.
Furthermore, Cellulite is a normal human variation that is -- are you ready for this? -- hereditary. Thanks Mom!! And of course, this appearance is much more common in we women than in men because of differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed in men and women's skin. Although female hormones may play a role in contributing to this fat distribution, cellulite is not treatable by any internal strategies ... hormone therapy or vitamin regimens or mineral supplements. Or liposuction. There is no cure, no magic bullet. But these areas can be managed and improved, they can be toned, tighened and smoothed.
If you like, cut your Kombu bar into chunks. Either vertically which will give a White Scrub and Green Seaweed layer in each chunk. Or horizontally which will give you one set of all White Scrub chunks and another set of all Green Seaweed chunks. Either way is fine. It's just personal preference...

The most tender, central part of the Kombu leaf, wild harvested from the arctic current waters off the northern most island of Japan at its southeast shore. Kombu seaweed reminerlizes the skin as it is rich in protein, calcium, iodine, magnesium, iron and folate. Lower rates of breast cancers have been reported in Japanese women eating a diet high in kombu. Lignans, which help fight cancer are found in high quantity in kelp and may provide protection against certain cancers.

Kelp is solely dependant upon receiving its nutrients from the ocean, and can grow up to two feet in one day.The primary chemical constituents of Kelp include algin, carrageenan, iodine, potassium, bromine, mucopolysaccharides, mannitol, alginic acid, kainic acid, laminine, histamine, zeaxanthin, protein, and vitamins B-2 and C.Kelp forests occur in cold, nutrient-rich water and are among the most beautiful and biologically productive habitats in the marine environment. They are found throughout the world in shallow open coastal waters, and the larger forests are restricted to temperatures less than 20ºC, extending to both the Arctic and Antarctic Circles. A dependence upon light for photosynthesis restricts them to clear shallow water and they are rarely much deeper than 15-40m. The kelps have in common a capacity for some of the most remarkable growth rates in the plant kingdom. In southern California, the Macrocystis can grow 30 cm per day.
