We like Big Soap!! Our bars are so big that they can easily be cut in half or in thirds. Use them as sachets in your linen closet or lingerie drawer and then when you've used up your soap, surprise, there's another just waiting for you!!

LET IT BREATHE!!
Our soap is shrink-wrapped to ensure the utmost in cleanliness. But … handmade soap is best left open and allowed to "breathe". So we always recommend that when you get your soap home, open it right up, cut it two if you're so inclined and store it away from strong light. Strong light may cause botanical colorants to fade, but will not affect the quality or the scent of the soap. Each bar of soap weighs 6 to 12 ounces (or more) and is labeled with full ingredients listing.

THE AROMASOAPS
Please note that DayBreak AromaSoaps will fill your bathroom with a glorious cloud of fragrance! That is how we design them. But the scent will vanish when you open the door and the cool air enters. Your skin however will be only lightly scented. We don't want our soaps to compete with your perfume or cologne.

ADDED LUXURY
We use many interesting ingredients for performance, silky lather, color and extra moisturization. Silk gives soap a silky lather. Goatsmilk, Coconut Milk and Aloe provide creamy, silky suds. Indigo Root gives a soft, natural blue, while Madder Root gives us colors ranging from pink to raspberry red. Some ingredients are used for exfoliation or texture, such as Rhassoul, French Green Clay, Bentonite Clay and Rose Clay. And of course, Oatmeal, which is great for gentle exfoliation and always feels nice on skin.

NATURAL COLOR
Our Natural Colorants come from botanicals & herbs, such as comfrey, indigo root, henna, madder root, cosmetic clays & spices. We love the muted colors we get from nature! Our un-Natural Colorants are all FDA approved food colorants.

Our motto is "Exquisite ingredients lavishly used!", so naturally we are super demanding when it comes to ingredient quality. And we believe you should never put anything on your skin that you would refuse to eat!

We like having complete control over all of our ingredients for every soap we create for you. We also love experimenting with new ideas. We use many oils and formulations because each gives its recipe a particular benefit.

• Olive Oil - High in oleic acid, olive oil is a supreme moisturizers and encourages healthy skin function, such as sweating or shedding of dry skin. It makes a hard conditioning bar of soap. For our Castile bars, we use Extra Virgin Olive Oil and for our regular bars we use Grade A food grade.

• Palm Oil - This is cheap filler oil and we rarely use it because it dries the skin.

• Coconut Oil - We use pure, food grade 92 Degree super white coconut oil. It's a soap essential because it not only give you wonderfully fluffy lather but also contributes to bar hardness.

• Virgin Coconut Oil - With all the benefits of Coconut oil but the most delicate, natural coconunt scent you can imagine, we use this in very special soaps!

• Palm Kernel Oil - Like coconut oil, provides lather and hardness. It also gives soap a smooth texture.

• Shea Butter - Ours is pure and unrefined so you get both shea benefits … moisturizing and healing. Refining shea robs it of the natural vitamins that contribute to skin healing. We import it from Ghana from a cooperative called The Shea Ladies.

• Cocoa Butter - Cocoa butter has been used for centuries in skin care. It is emollient and provides richness to lather in soap.

• Rice Bran Oil - We use Rice Bran Oil oil to give soaps an incredible moisturizing boost and smooth texture.

• Castor Oil - The bubble machine. Every single bar we make -- except one and you can guess on it!! – contains castor oil in some form. Castor oil contains fatty acids, is emollient and gives soap more of a creamy lather.
