Keep a chunk by the sink for doing dishes. Grind some up for laundry detergent. Take slice and pre-treat stains. It cuts grease, removes light stains, dries out poison ivy/oak, cleans all surfaces. I use this for all laundry with no problems. I also add white vinegar to the fabric softner dispenser. The clothes are so soft.
