In 2004, DayBreak Lavender Farm was officially designated by the Ohio State Senate as "… the first lavender farm in Ohio's history." If you would like to read the proclamation, we are proud to share it with you.
Even in its most archaic form, soap has probably always played a role in human history. Before soap became an intentionally produced product, it was extracted from plants like yucca, soapwort, and horsetail. The need for a substance to help remove dirt, grease, foodstuffs, pitches, bodily excretions, etc., has always been a part of the human experience.
If you own – or are considering – our new Living Skin Care DIY 5-Masque System, you are in the right place. Come on in and explore. Stay as long as you like. And create Living Skin Care. Our soap is shrink-wrapped to ensure the utmost in cleanliness. But … handmade soap is best left open and allowed to "breathe". So we always recommend that when you get your soap home, open it right up, cut it two if you're so inclined and store it away from strong light. Strong light may cause botanical colorants to fade, but will not affect the quality or the scent of the soap. Each bar of soap weighs 6 to 12 ounces (or more) and is labeled with full ingredients listing.
This Natural Ingredients Dictionary is a good reference for definitions and descriptions of the benefits of our natural ingredients. It is important to remember, when using natural bath and body products, that some people may have allergies to even natural ingredients. Oils derived from nuts, for example, are found in many natural skincare products, and people with nut allergies should use caution.
